Fresh, White Baker's Kitchen in Custom Home - This bright, clean lined kitchen was designed to maximize the gorgeous panoramic views both inside and out. Nordic White cabinets with recessed panel doors surround the perimeter of the room and are topped with Torquay Cambria Quartz countertops. Two full size sinks were installed below a bank of windows and offer stunning views of the horse pastures beyond. The sizable double level island features contrasting countertops in Island Steel Gray with a unique leathered finish. The island, which was customized specifically to suit the needs of our client who is an avid baker, boasts a lowered 4’ x 4’ baking counter located at the end of the island for comfortably kneading dough or plenty of slicing and dicing. It was intentionally placed within easy reach to the professional grade 6 burner cooktop with griddle and double oven by American Range. To create a striking yet functional focal point, a stainless steel vent hood, also from American Range, rises above the range. A tall bank of cabinets with glass display cabinets above, provide great storage and allow the homeowner’s collections to be showcased. LED lighting was installed to illuminate through the glass shelving. Rejuvenation pendant lighting adds a vintage touch to the space while a feature wall of beveled subway tile gives a fresh modern look for a great combo of style. The large kitchen opens up to the great room which features a radiant heat, clean-burning Empire Masonry Heater and fireplace with a bakeoven and stone surround. It also opens up to a spacious laundry room that includes a laundry chute and doggy bath. Hardwood oak floors were installed throughout.
