Since 1990, M.J. Whelan Construction has been defining
the standards of
excellence in crafting fine homes and transforming existing houses into
dream homes.
Matt Whelan, owner of M.J. Whelan Construction, has been in the construction
industry for over 25 years. An accomplished finish carpenter and cabinet
maker, Matt has made a niche in learning what our clients needs are while
paying close attention to detail. Over the last 15 years, he has built a
dynamic and talented team who have a sound reputation for quality, style,
and excellent customer service. Their honesty and integrity, combined with
quality craftsmanship have the winning ingredients to a successful business.
M.J. Whelan Construction is proud to be members of the National Association
of Home Builders, Building Industry Association of Southeast Michigan,
Better Business Bureau, Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce and is involved in
several local charities and community projects.

building strong relationships with our clients in order to meet the unique and individual needs of each one and to provide an
exceptional end result. We strive to give the best possible value for the money without sacrificing quality, timeliness or design which are
our trademark. We are committed and take pride in our strong adherence to the values and standards of the NAHB, NARI and relationships with
organizations such as the BBB, local Chamber of Commerce and local charitable organizations.
